Against All Odds: Determination, Key to Sea Cadet's Success

For a sixteen-year-old sea cadet, she was born with no limitations when given a challenge.  For the rest of us, we would see it differently if we were missing much of our left arm.  For Delani Hulme-Lawrence, it's just a fact of life when born that way.  Now, in 2012, with the help of two world class sailing coaches, she prepares herself for elite competition that most of us will never experience - the Canada Games in 2013 and ultimately - the World Paralympics in 2016 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

    • Welcome to our New Site!

Cadets.ca has gone through some considerable changes that affect the way our Website operates and the information contained within it. Some of the more significant changes include ensuring that the Website is fully compliant with the Government of Canada’s new accessibility guidelines and ensuring that all content is available in fully bilingual format.

In order to better serve these requirements, some of the items you’re used to seeing may have moved. These may include program wide resources such as the Cadet Administrative and Training Orders (CATO’s) and Training Plans / Instructor Guides for the new Cadet Program. These files are in the process of being moved to the new file repository available at http://www.cadets.ca/repository-repertoire . Please note that this file repository is meant for Cadet Program stakeholders and as such is password protected. A button linking to the file repository will be placed just below the Social Media links on the right hand side of the National homepage.

In order to obtain the password for the file repository, for additional information on the changes that have occurred, or to inquire as to the location of pertinent information, files or resources, please consult your local chain of command.
