The Friends of the Canadian War Museum recently launched their Youth Friends program in an effort to stimulate an interest in Canadian military history among Canadian youth. An invitation is extended to cadets and JCRs who would like to become Youth Friends of the Canadian War Museum.
There is no cost to becoming a Youth Friend of the Canadian War Museum. However, youth have to submit a creative work of art that relates to the three-fold mandate of the Canadian War Museum: Education, Preservation, and Remembrance. Youth Friends receive a personalized certificate, a pin, newsletters and invitations to exclusive events at the Museum.
